Knowledge is power, and when a person has an understanding of their anatomy and physiology, they become empowered and more proactive in personal care and well-being.
Sharon Jackson has been a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2007. She trained at Northumberland Massage Therapy College, in Nova Scotia. Prior to becoming an RMT, she worked for many years in landscape gardening, and currently has an extensive organic herb and vegetable garden.
Sharon offers her clients a therapeutic deep tissue massage approach which is a subtle and gentle way to address and correct underlying connective tissue and structural anomalies. She helps her clients in becoming aware of aggravating factors, making suggestions to help correct musculoskeletal dysfunction throughout activities of daily living.
She believes that knowledge is power, and when a person has an understanding of their anatomy and physiology, they become empowered and more proactive in personal care and well-being. This empowerment leads to a sense of self-confidence and connectedness to oneself. Our engagement and appreciation of self awareness leads us to a point of stillness, or stillpoint.
When Sharon is not practicing as an RMT either at Eastpoint or Stillpoint, her other office on the Drive, she can be found in her garden, canoeing, bird-watching, swimming, cooking, travelling, and enjoying photography.
