If you answered yes to any of the above questions then please join Kristy Ware with us at Eastpoint Natural Health Clinic for an afternoon of women’s health education and exercise. Whether you are 3 weeks postpartum, 3 months or 3 years what you will learn will change the way you view your body and the way you move about your life.
In this 1.5 hour workshop we will cover:
- What the terms diastasis recti, organ prolapse and incontinence mean and how to know if you have them
- How re-training your pelvic floor after having a baby is crucial to getting back to regular exercise and everyday tasks without pain and discomfort
- 3 simple but specific exercises you can start doing today!
- A 10 minute mini assessment to determine if you have pelvic floor dysfunction and what options you have to help correct the dysfunction
Pre-registration is required: the cost is $15 and a portion of proceeds goes to Out On Screen (Vancouver Queer Film Festival & the Out in Schools program, which facilitates school presentations on LGBTQ issues and anti-bullying).
