We are committed to ensuring our community’s health & well-being during these unprecedented times.
Like many of you, we have been closely following the press releases from our Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry. We have also been receiving ongoing communications from the BC Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia.
As a result, based on the current statements and recommendations, Eastpoint will be closed to all in-person care until Chiropractors in British Columbia are permitted to provide regular in-person care.
Although chiropractors are allowed to provide in-person care to urgent carecases, Dr. Stacey has decided to not offer this service at this time.
In its place, she has Telehealth (Virtual) Appointments available to maintain your access to care and support. In addition, should you need to have an in-person visit, she will gladly refer you to a colleague who is providing care for urgent cases, and check in with you as you need during this time.
In addition, Dr. Stacey will be doing Live Sessions on Social Media in the near future, focusing on topics related to managing your overall health & wellbeing during this time. She will also be doing weekly Q&A Events on Zoom, so stay tuned for updates on that. (Have to get the technical end sorted out still!)
What is the expected time-line before non-urgent community services are re-established? The Provincial Health Officer has not provided a time-line at this time, and we honestly don’t know when we will be able to return to “normal” life. Please stay updated on operations through our website, newsletters and/or social media (Facebook, Instagram)
In the interim, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to help.
