To help you navigate through the booking and appointment process, I’ve described each step for you here. In the past, we have had the First visit as a longer, in-person appointment, where we discuss your current health concern, your health history, and your health goals, and then proceed directly to a physical exam, a discussion of what is going on and how to help you, finishing with hands-on care and home recommendations.
Due to COVID, we are trying to limit the amount of time any individual spends in this office, and when in-person visits occur, face masks are required as outlined in our current office policies during examination and treatment.
At this time, the first visit, for both adults and children, will be split into 2 parts.
Initial Consultation (bookable online): The discussion of your current concern, health history, and recovery goals will be done by Telehealth. This takes anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. The benefit of this is that it is an opportunity to meet “face to face” prior to hands-on care, allowing you to better know and trust the care you will receive.
In-Person Examination & Treatment (scheduled by the chiropractor): At the conclusion of your telehealth consultation, you will have the examination & treatment appointment booked at the earliest possible opportunity. It is intended that this will be completed within 1 week at the most, preferably within 1-2 days.
